In the neighbourhood

  • George Marina

Already a household name in the up-and-coming Amstelkwartier: George Marina is the place to while away the time. Watch the boats mooring. Or climb aboard yourself for a boat trip through the Amsterdam canals. After a delicious meal, of course.

  • Park Somerlust

From your table or on the terrace, enjoy a drink, lunch or dinner while you watch the sun go down. Peace is never far away here. The iconic water tower and wide fields make Park Somerlust a perfect place to walk the dog or have a picnic.

  • Restaurant L'osteria

Excellent food with the city skyline across the water. A second culinary living room in your own neighbourhood, to visit with family, friends and neighbours.

  • Amstel Boathouse

Take the boat to the terrace across the water. Settle down here for a drink or a bite to eat while you look out over your wonderful home.

  • Martin Luther King park

A park on both sides of the Amstel. Plenty of space for walking and for children to play. In summer, the De Parade theatre festival sets up here.

  • tHuis aan de Amstel

The former “Director's House” of the Zuidergasfabriek was restored in 2013 and has been open to the public since 2014. Café tHuis aan de Amstel is culinary, authentic and creative, and above all a place for good food and drink
